Ask yourself, “Do I regard my fear as something to be overcome or something to be heeded?
Is my fear petty – a sucker’s ruse? Something to be overcome? Or do I view my fear as a legitimate warning about my present and future?
The point is not to choose one way or the other and apply it to all situations. The point is to pause and ask yourself this question when you feel fear.
When you are faced with this decision – to overcome or to heed your fear – you are standing at the brink of two lives.
